The Karen Wyckoff Rein in Sarcoma Foundation (KWRISF) is a resource for families touched by sarcomas, an uncommon and often lethal group of bone and soft tissue cancers that may strike children and younger adults, leaving an especially tender heartbreak. Often working in partnership with the University of Minnesota, RIS seeks to fund innovative, collaborative and high-impact research.
KWRISF is the largest and best-known sarcoma foundation in the Upper Midwest. Over the past 8 years, with its three-pronged commitment to sarcoma research, support and education, the Fund has reached thousands of people and raised over $450,000.
A Minnesota non-profit Foundation dedicated to finding a cure for sarcoma cancers through research, educating about sarcomas, and supporting sarcoma survivors and their loved ones.

Research FundingThe majority of the proceeds of the Foundation are to support the Karen Wyckoff Sarcoma Research Fund, the primary Sarcoma fund of the University of Minnesota Masonic Cancer Center. The Foundation also supports education of the community and physicians about sarcoma cancers with a particular emphasis on lessening misdiagnoses. read more...
